Introduction

Dr. Lairenjam Pradipkanti Devi received PhD degree from IIT Madras, Chennai on the thesis title “Novel properties of polymer under confinement” in the year 2018. She did her 1st postdoc in Institute of Physics, Albert-Ludwig-University of Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany for two years from January, 2019 - December 2020 and 2nd postdoc in Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit, JNCASR, Bengaluru, India from January, 2021 - January, 2023. She joined IIIT Manipur in February, 2023. Her main research interest is Experimental Condensed Matter Physics which includes fabrication and understanding the fascinating properties, namely, swelling/deswelling, glass transition temperature, chain relaxation, wetting/dewetting of confined polymers; and to explore the importance of soft matter in the state-of-art technology.
